The University of Picardie Jules Verne is a multi-disciplinary university covering four main areas of training :
- Arts, Letters, Languages;
- Law, Economics and Management;
- Humanities and Social Sciences;
- Sciences, Technology, Health.
32,000 students are welcomed and trained there every year, in 12 faculties, 7 institutes and 1 engineering school, spread over 6 campuses.
The UPJV's research units are involved in three disciplinary fields: science (12 research units), health (11 research units), and human and social sciences (13 research units).
