As the first Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) in sports, STARS empowers athletes, professionals, and educators by providing advanced training frameworks and bridging the gap between academia, sports institutions, and the professional world.

135 BPM is an accelerator of education and inclusion through sport, promoting equal opportunities and access to training for all young people. With more than 100 vocational training courses in the Hauts-de-France region, it promotes professions that are often little-known and adapts to the needs of a rapidly expanding sector.
Its action is based on educational innovation, European mobility and support for trainers, reinforcing the attractiveness and social impact of sport. A leader in European projects such as STARS, 135 BPM embodies a pioneering vision, placing sport at the service of social cohesion and professional excellence.
STARS PROJECT

Ligue Hauts-de-France d’Athlétisme
The purpose of the Hauts-de-France Athletics League is to develop and control the practice of athletics in all its forms within its territory, within the framework of the delegation granted by the FFA and in the context of sustainable development. It must also defend the moral and material interests of athletics and represent athletics at regional level.
The Hauts-de-France Athletics League is proud to be a partner of the STARS project, a collaborative initiative bringing together various actors involved in sport.
Our mission on the workpackage 5, is clear to update the STARS communication channels in order to strengthen the impact of the partners in the project, by using all the tools and social medias panel available. The influence and promotion of the news, initiatives and successes of the partners are therefore at the heart of our mission within the project.

European Observatoire of Sport and Employment - EOSE
EOSE is an international membership civil society organisation linking employment and education to facilitate the development of the sport and physical activity sector in Europe.
EOSE aims to ensure the sector has a competent workforce with the right skills through its network of 37 members from 30 countries, and its expertise in research, sport employment and skills analysis, policy recommendations, professional standards development, education and training, and project development and management.
In STARS, EOSE key roles are to support the development of a Europe-wide Large-Scale Skills Partnership (LSP), four Regional Skills Partnerships, and the implementation of a Training Needs Assessment survey.

The Hauts-de-France academic region is made up of the academies of Amiens (Aisne, Oise and Somme departments) and Lille (Nord and Pas-de-Calais departments). 6 universities, 536 apprentice training centres and nearly 6,000 schools and colleges make up the 3rd largest academic region in France, with over a million pupils, more than 250,000 students, over 64,000 apprentices and more than 117,000 staff.
The academic region is the regional representation of the services of the Ministry of Education. It is the level at which regional education policies are coordinated in area such as vocational training, higher education, the fight against early school leaving and the use of European funds.

Universidad Politécnica de Madrid
The Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Polytechnic University of Madrid: UPM) is a public university in the city of Madrid (Spain), dedicated to high technical schooling, including the sciences of physical activity and sport. The homonymous faculty is the highest ranked nationally in areas of quality, research and work opportunities since 2006. Its Human Performance and Health Department hosts the Chair "Fundación Sanitas" of Inclusive Sport Studies (CEDI), responsible for the teaching and research regarding adapted physical activities for persons with disabilities since 2009, and active member of the STARS project leading the Applied Research in Sports building block.

The European Association of Institutes for Vocational Training (EVBB) is the largest global network advancing Vocational Education and Training (VET).
Representing over 600 members across 76 countries, EVBB aims to make VET a first choice worldwide. It fosters partnerships with educational institutions to elevate training standards, supports high-quality project consortia, and advocates ambitious policies through collaboration with public authorities and EU institutions.
EVBB leads innovative projects under Erasmus+ and organizes events like the annual EU Policy Camp. Operating in Brussels, its VET House co-creation space hosts workshops, meetings, and its VET TALKS podcast, promoting global access to education.

BK Consult GmbH (BKC)
BK-CON has over 20 years of experience in EU-funded projects, specializing in education, employment, social inclusion, project and program evaluation, quality assurance, and project management. In education, BK-CON excels in designing and delivering training curricula, e-learning tools (e.g., MOOCs), gamification, and experiential education. In employment, it supports start-ups, entrepreneurship, and workforce integration.
The organization also brings expertise in social inclusion, focusing on social integration, addressing discrimination, and supporting vulnerable groups. Additionally, BK-CON is a trusted partner in project and program evaluation, ensuring alignment with objectives and measurable outcomes, as well as in quality assurance, providing services for VET, Higher Education, and Rights Equality and Citizenship projects.
Committed to sustainability, BK-CON’s mission is to add value to partners at all levels, fostering societal development.

The main aim of the General Secretariat of Sports (GSS), Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sport is the determination of strategic plan and the configuration of the implementation method of the country's sports policy. Furthermore, within the framework of the State's constitutional obligation is aiming to protect, administrate and financially support the sport activities. HELLENIC VOLLEY BALL FEDERATION
The Hellenic Volleyball Federation (HVBF) is an association governed by Hellenic law founded in 1970 and based in Athens, Greece. It is the only governing body responsible for all forms of Volleyball, Beach Volleyball and Snow Volleyball. Working closely with the World Federation (FIVB) and the European Confederation (CEV), aims to develop all forms of Volleyball in Greece. 503 clubs counting 30.311 athletes are registered and active.

AJFS: Spanish Futsal Players Association (as player union) is the male futsal players union in the world. Was funded on 1998.
These are our three main pillars on which all AJFS activities and projects are based:
1) DEFENSE: Defend the rights of players and give them legal advice.
2) DUAL CAREER: Supporting the players in all their needs regarding training, studies and personal development. Give easy access to academic training programs, preparing their future and working in their Dual Career. PDM Service (Player Development Manager) is on charge on this pillar.
3) FUTURE: Helping to prepare and support in their transition and sport retirement to join into the labour market after the sport career, so employability is one of the main aspects to develop with them.
We are more than 1650 affiliates (Jan-2025), formed by professional players of 1st and 2nd Division (professional and semi-prof.), 2nd Div B, 3rd Div. and young players (U-18,17,16) (Amateurs), players playing abroad (professional), and former players, about whom we work to improve their conditions and expectations of present and future.
Besides those pillars, we are worried and working about the development of their personal skills (Leadership, Communication, etc.) match-fixing, mental health, and encourage social inclusion and equal opportunities in sport.

As an outward-looking and modern comprehensive establishment, Leipzig University, member of the German U15 network and among the oldest in Europe, strives to be one of the leading universities in Germany when it comes to top-class research and medical expertise.
The Faculty of Sports Science, largest sport science faculty at a university in the Federal Republic of Germany, has a special responsibility to offer contributions to research, teaching and the third mission in high quality and pioneering diversity.

Bezirksregierung Düsseldorf sees itself as an "interpreter" and "moderator" between the state and municipalities.
We bundle the requirements from the various line ministries of the state government and ensure legally and technically correct implementation at the municipal level. Our office for EU Projects advises and supports vocational colleges in the administrative district in the planning, implementation and evaluation of European educational projects.
Concerning STARS, we provide educational expertise and resources. We mobilize a network of more than 70 VET schools.

SKILLS PARTNERSHIPS IN SPORT
Skills Partnerships bring employers, education and training providers, and public authorities together to enhance upskilling and reskilling opportunities. This approach can enable sectors to coordinate their efforts in relation to skills, whilst also demonstrating their contribution to the Europe-wide skills agenda. Skills partnerships are sector-led and aim to address specific and strategic skills needs that will enable the continued economic success and growth of sectors and regions skills. Skills Partnerships are rooted in collaborative and inclusive working arrangements that help to create opportunities for collaboration on skills.
